We are the Yancey Family
We have a passion for raising pure bred English style Golden Retrievers (also called English Creams). We raise our puppies in our home with our family. Our goal as breeders is to provide you with a well raised, good tempered, healthy puppy, that will make a wonderful family companion or potential service dog! We only breed dogs that have passed all their health clearances and are considered “All Clear” of all genetic disorders by the OFA.

Our Puppy Program
Early Neurological Stimulation
Yancey’s Golden Retrievers puppies begin Early Neurological Stimulation (ENS) through Puppy Culture on day three of life. This special method of training promotes optimal health and immune resiliency. It also helps facilitate a laid back temperament that is tolerant to a variety of stressors. This is especially important for dogs that go on to therapy and service training.
Potty Training
At around four weeks old, the puppies are moved out of the whelping box and into the weaning pen with a potty area where they have a lot more space to play. The pups will not be fully potty trained when they go home but they’ll have a great start!
Individual Training
We do individual training sessions with each puppy that include chew toy training, recalls, automatic sit, and spending time in a crate. Our pups also receive lots of calm affection and are used to being held. We try to introduce them to any situation or object that would potentially be scary to adult dogs so they will be well-adjusted.
Dewormed & First Vaccinations
They will be dewormed and have their first vaccination before they go home around 8 weeks. Click here to read about everything that comes in our puppy package.

Our Adult Dogs
All of our dogs have been health tested and are “all clear” of any genetic disorders or health issues. They have wonderful temperaments and are great with children and animals. Our Goldens are part of our family and live inside the home with us.
